Elle was sighted while out for breakfast in Los Angeles yesterday, and our gallery has been updated with the images. I have also uploaded a set from last month that we missed, in which she was arriving at the gym.
Elle’s newest work for MIU MIU has been revealed! She’s featured in their Croisere 2018 Collection campaign, and they’ve uploaded a video and photos of it to their official website. I have added the photos to our gallery, and I’ll screen cap the video later on – I’ve uploaded a lot of files to our gallery today, and I want to let the visitors see them before adding more. I’ve uploaded several images from Elle’s Spring/Summer 2017 campaign for the brand, too, while I was at it.
Our gallery has been updated with lots of film screen captures! We had been missing those from Elle’s most recent projects, such as Trumbo, The Neon Demon and Live By Night, and Elle’s short films (music videos) – Likeness and Leaning Towards Solace. I’ve also uploaded new screen captures from Maleficent, as the ones we had before were slightly smaller and tagged. They’re still there, we’ve just added better ones to complement them! After this update, I believe the only movies we’ll be missing are 20th Century Women and The Beguiled. I’ve acquired them both already, so they’ll be up very soon!
Elle attended the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards last night! She wore a Versace dress with Marilyn Monroe’s face all over it, and was awarded the Breakthrough Style Star. Her acceptance speech included a high school story, in which she was made fun of for being authentic, and, thanks to InStyle, you can read it below.
“We had these things called Free Dress Fridays at our school, ‘cause we went to a school that had uniforms,” she told the A-list crowd. “I remember picking out, laying out my clothes down to, like, the right color socks that you would never see, but I knew they were there.”
So what outfit has she never forgotten?
“I bought this Opening Ceremony top that was light pink and it had Big Bird on it, like little Big Birds all over the top, and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna wear this with these bell-bottom jeans and these platform shoes,” she continued.
“I went to school and I was brutally made fun of,” she said, explaining that she considered changing her style after her classmates didn’t approve. The results? She said changing her look didn’t make her feel like herself, so she hasn’t since, crediting the evening’s Versace number as a risk-taking dress.
“I pushed it. We’re going for it! Thank you for that,” she said. “Now, thanks to Big Bird and to Samantha and to InStyle and my mom…[this] is dedicated to all those high school kids.”
Our gallery has been updated with a few image sets from the last couple of days! Elle continued to be photographed on the set of Woody Allen’s upcoming film project, and she was also sighted out in New York City a couple of times.
Our fansite was offline for a while earlier this week due to a server issue, so we held off on the updates and when it finally came back we realized the mess we had made with the different sets from Woody Allen’s film. Since Elle’s wearing the same outfit in nearly all of them, we can’t really tell them apart. There might be pictures in the wrong folders for that reason – pictures from the 18th on the 19th album and etc – and I’m sorry about that. Also, this image shows a clapperboard with the title Dark Clouds In Sky, which might be the film’s title. It could also be just a working title, so we’ll wait for it to be confirmed before changing the category in our gallery.
